When a Child is Born
是我从小就特别喜欢的一首圣诞赞美诗，因为我相信Christmas is about Christ。台湾将Christmas翻译成“耶诞节”的意思是“耶稣诞生的节日”，大陆通用的翻译“圣诞”原始的意思是“圣子诞生之日”。旧约以赛亚书中的预言说“有一个婴孩为我们降生，有一子赐给我们”，无论是儿时还是现在，每个平安夜的午夜圣餐礼在教堂听到诵读这句经文，心里都有满满的喜悦、平安和感恩。
圣婴只诞生一次，但世界上很多很多孩子的降生，也从积极的意义上改变了一个家庭、一个社区、一个领域或一个国家，或整个世界，很多其他的人。他们也是上帝给这个世界的祝福。虽然他们中的很多人因为并不在期冀中诞生而有着阴暗的童年，可那并没有妨碍他们长大后成为心地宽容平和、愿意用爱和温暖去对待别人的人（比如Eggsy啊：P）。
所以在想到要写一个关于圣诞月的奇迹、美好的惊喜、爱和感恩的圣诞文时，就想到了用这首圣诞歌作为主题。
